I was awoken at 3am this morning by someone going crazy pressing our intercom buzzer and doorbell. They were going nuts with it.

It was a neighbour saying his flat and the flat below were flooded
and he wanted to check our flat. I said no and checked it myself and there was nothing wrong. we certainly weren't the source of the flooding. And i'm sure if he'd taken a minute in his own place he could have worked that out instead of waking us up.

He said the fire brigade and police were coming, I said fine. I checked round again then came back to the door and said there was no problem here. He said the police may want to look around. I said fine, if they came round I'd let them in. The neighbour then asked if he could look around. I told him no, I'd already checked, and shut the door in his face.

No one came round. we weren't the source of the flood. but there was lots of noise for the next two hours as they fixed whatever it was. so I'm exhausted. There was no need for the neighbour to wake us up, and it would have been more polite to ring the doorbell once rather than going mental with it.

Damn I'm tired, took me ages to get to sleep, so I hope you forgive the rambling post.
