Baby Rock 101
I'm all for starting the twins' education rather early and today we looked at the subject of modern hard rock and heavy metal.
So instead of the baby channel it was Scuzz that the TV was tuned to for a little while.
The results were rather interesting.
Patpat was very much into the music as I knew he would be, he used to dance in time to Deep Purple when he was still just a bump.
Tracks he was particularly keen on today were Velvet Revolver's Slither and strangely Marylin Manson's Mobscene. Both had him dancing in his bouncing chair to time with the tunes.
He really didn't think much of Metallica's St. Anger - the bizarre poor production and broken snare drum probably putting him off. And thankfully any nu-metal tracks left him cold.
Meanwhile Kitty didn't seem at all amused by the hard rock on offer. She preferred to demonstrate her crawling skills, such as they are.
She can only crawl with her legs, but she puts a lot of effort into it. On her back she scoots across the floor at frightening pace. On her front she's less sure, pushing herself along on her face - which obviously she doesn't seem to enjoy.
It might save me the bother of hoovering though.

I'm loving hearing the tales of the babes!

Do they do the hilarious thing where they crawl backwards, and then get cross when what they want becomes further and further away?
I love to watch babies do that because I am mean.
