Domestic Bliss

Life here in North London goes on in its usual happy fashion. We've both had a bit of a stressful week really. But it seems that we're never down at the same time, and so there's a happy smiling face there to offer support and cheer the other up. That's how it should be, mutual support and keeping each other smiling.

Our everyday life here together is very much a happy one. Sure we'd love to have more money, but who wouldn't, and we always manage to raise a smile on each other's face should either of us be looking down.

That's what being together is all about really, mutual support, love and understanding - and lots of laughter. In L, I've found someone who is the best friend anyone could wish for, she's smart, funny, always knows the right thing to say to make me smile and is more fun to be around than anyone I know. She also has the world's cutest laugh, in fact I should get onto Guinness to have it put into the Book of Records.

And so life here is good. We've been here in our flat over six weeks now and I love it. It already feels like home, like the place I'm meant to be. Even the smelly old hole a few miles south - known as Central London - hasn't bored me yet. I'm still excited about heading into town. I'm determined to visit some of the museums and galleries I've longed to see in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile I'm also on a job hunt, I've got a part-time job as UK Editor at Boomtown.net, but I'm looking to fill the rest of my day or get another full time job (and work Boomtown around it) - it would be nice to have more spare cash and we've some important things to pay for such as our wedding next year and a certain ring I will be shopping for in the coming months - once I've got L's father's permission. :)

So if you've a space in your company for a dedicated and experienced website content editor/writer - you could always email me at jobs@harryneary.com and see what a reasonable, hard-working and rather splendid addition to your enterprise I could be.

(But enough of the cheap plugs) :)

Anyway, it's all rather exciting really life, it's certainly never dull sharing a flat with L, she's the funniest, most loving and warm hearted person you could hope to meet.
