Finally Dunked

Well we finally got round to having the twins christened and while we were at it we got Will dunked too. That's a three for one deal down at the local God shop.

It all went remarkably well actually. The service was lovely and it was brief enough that our little pickle Will didn't get too out of hand. All three of the children behaved beautifully.

The best bit was that Patrick actually giggled all the way through being baptised. Beforehand I'd been nervous he might actually cry. But all three took to it very well and did us proud.

...

Afterwards we had a little party, with a wonderful spread laid on by wifey's parents. Joined by friends and family it was great to have a little get together in what seemed like a celebration of our children.

All three are doing really well. The twins really seem to have grown up a lot recently. There's not a day goes by that Patrick doesn't astound me with his vocabulary - often using sophisticated words correctly that I'd never heard him say before. Kitty is becoming more confident in company and is finally talking to her teachers - I bet it won't be long before the world discovers the bossy little girl she normally is at home.

Will is in that big transition between baby and toddler, he's been walking for ages, but he's still quite a baby. But he's thoroughly adorable. At the moment he's learning to talk and we're getting extremely complicated babble that means something to him and the odd word we can understand. My favourite thing he says though is "choo choo" as he runs around pretending to be a train.

Here are some of the pics we took at their Christening party:
